NEW TO RACEWAY PARK
Since the summer of 1965 Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey or “E-town” as it is known to may racers and fans alike, hosts a variety of both motorsport and non-motorsport events during a season that lasts from late February through Late November. Whether you’re interested in NHRA Championship
Drag Racing, Family Fun Thrill Shows, AMA Motocross, or any of the many action-packed events RacewayPark hosts,
there is sure to be something for everyone.
Drag Racing:
The great sport of drag racing is a side by side acceleration contest between two vehicles racing from a standing start down the dragstrip. Family Fun Thrill Shows: Raceway Park’s Thrilling Monster Truck and Drag Racing shows are a great way to spice up a dull summer night. Motocross: RacewayParkhas some of the area’s best high-flying motocross events. Constructed in 1971, the AMA sanctioned track is one of two on the RacewayPark grounds. Karting: Each year, we welcome both returning kart racers and those new to the sport to a fun and challenging karting schedule staged on our Sprint Course and famousRoad Course . Swap Meets:Twice annually, one in the Spring, one in the Fall, RacewayPark is home to two of the Northeasts largest Swap Meets and Auto Shows. These 3-day events bring in hundreds of vendors with all the best and hard to find parts and pieces as well as the area’s finest rides on display on the drag strip end to end. Road Course: RacewayPark’s most reecnt addition is the 1.35 mile Road Course. It features a 50’ wide, 1,400 ft straightaway, a 90 degree right turn, a 16 degree banked left turn, and a mini corkscrew. It’s challenging enough to test any street legal sports, touring, or performance car, yet safe enough to allow amateur and recreational drivers.
