High School Challenge 2009
On July 5th, Raceway Park will hold its High School Challenge race, once again sponsored by Jim Harrington's Drag Racing School. The class is open to any student who graduated or will be graduating from High School in 2009. The lucky winner at the end of the event will be awarded with a Raceway Park Points Champion embroidered jacket, and will attend the NHRA Division 1 Summit E.T. Finals to help represent the 2009 Raceway Park team on September 24, 25 and 26 at Maple Grove Raceway.
QUALIFICATIONS: Car must run a 12.00 ET or slower. The car must be non-modified, all 4 tires MUST be D.O.T. approved-NO SLICKS, and no electronics are allowed. The student must have a valid driver's license and be in High School in 2009, or graduated in 2009. 17 year olds must have a parent or guardian on premises or have a signed AND notarized insurance release form.
